ACCESS STATEMENT FOR CAMBRIDGE HOUSE
Introduction
Milton and Sarah are committed to assuring the comfort of their guests to the best of their ability. Therefore this ‘access statement’ will help guests to be informed with regards to their comfort when arriving at Cambridge House.
Car Parking
There is on road car parking directly outside Cambridge House.
Entrance
One concrete step leading up to the front door followed by, 2” threshold onto, a coir fitted hall way. Courtesy door: to carpeted hall way.
Public Areas
Guest Lounge; carpeted, two three seated sofas, television with digital box, bookcase, books, magazines, visitors book for your comments.
Dining Room
Our dining room is open for breakfast between 7am and 9am. It can also be used by arrangement in the evenings for eating ‘take away’ meals.
There is a slight level change at threshold to cork tiled floor. Large pine: farmhouse style table. Buffet area for cereals and juices. All breakfasts cooked fresh to order.
All floors are carpeted from this point
Bedrooms
We have five bedrooms over 2 floors (no lift!). Each bedroom comprises a welcome book, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, Flat screen television with freeview, DVD and Ipod dock. In the bathrooms you will find towels, shampoo, soap, body lotion, cotton balls and shower caps.
Stairs x 13 to first floor half landing – step up to first floor accommodation including:-
Family room en suite: Double bed, single bed and pull out single bed (sleeps 4). Shower room.
Double room en suite: Double bed. Shower room.
Stairs x 4 to half landing, and owners accommodation.
Stairs x 11, to second floor, fire door.
Step to landing.
Three steps to the right leading to fire escape exit – iron spiral staircase down to metal push bar door on street level.
Stairs x 4 to second floor accommodation including:-
Twin room en suite: 2 single beds (a further guest bed can be added). Shower room.
Double room en suite: Double bed. Shower room
Double room with private facilities: Double bed. Shower room. The shower room is lockable and directly next door to the bedroom.
